Ron Cumberland, Director

  • Career in healthcare advertising & marketing since 1977
  • Advertising & Promotions Department, Merck Sharp & Dohme
  • GP & Hospital representative , MSD
  • Product Manager, responsible for a number of ethical pharmaceutical products.
  • Pfizer Pty Ltd - responsible for their range of consumer-promoted OTC products.
  • Moved into advertising in 1983 &, until 1999 held a number of senior roles in various healthcare advertising agencies including Managing Director of Medicus PDA in Sydney.
  • His particular skills lie in the areas of strategic planning & implementation for which marketing research is the key tool.
  • Extensive experience in the marketing & advertising of health & health-related products and services.
  • After regularly commissioning marketing research during his career, Ron spent 5 years with Outlook Research & Planning as a Senior Researcher before leaving to co-found Looking Glass Research in March 2005.
  • Brings an in-depth understanding of the client’s expectations and needs from marketing research projects.
